While going through a box of memories, I found my old Argentine ID tucked away. I was 25 when I requested that duplicate. I still remember the place where the photo was taken and the dress I was wearing. It marked the end of a meaningful chapter in my life.

After completing my degree in Graphic Design at the University of Buenos Aires, I left Argentina and moved temporarily to Chicago, where I studied English in an intensive 20-week program at DePaul University. What was meant to be a short stay in the United States eventually became permanent.

California became my home for 26 years. I returned to school to earn a certificate in Web Design, worked as a freelancer, became a mother of two, and ran my own brick-and-mortar design studio.

In 2018, I began reconnecting with an old passion: photography; drawn to textures, shapes, landscapes, lines, and the timeless beauty of black and white images. Since moving to Miami in 2021, I’ve been focusing on documentary photography. Last year, I completed a Master’s degree in Creative Writing, a way to weave my literary voice into my visual work and continue shaping my identity as an artist.

I know you by heart
